Stationary Brake Motors

The motors of DFS range are equipped with an electromagnetic standing brake, a c.c. coil and fixed braking torque.

It is possible to adopt brakes with separate feeding, in the same way as it happens with two speed motors or motors working through inverters.

The double speed DF brake stationary motors can be made:

• with single three-phase winding with DAHLANDER/YY configuration (single winding) for motors equipped with double polar couples (2/4 and 4/8).
  
• with double three-phase internal winding for motors with polar couples 2/6, 2/8, 4/6, 6/8.

These motors can be supplied with following polar couples and rotation speed:

These motors are available with B3, B5 and B14 flange and have following characteristics:

• IEC sizes = 63 ÷ 160
  
• Nominal power Pn= 0.18/0.12 ÷ 22/18.5 kW
  
• Brake type: A.C. current, D.C. current
  
• Energy efficiency= IE1
  
• Nominal torque Mn= 0.60/.060 ÷ 73/100 Nm
  
  

The FS brakes are standard supplied with 103 V d.c. power supply for 230 V electric motors, with 178 V d.c. power supply for 400 V electric motors.
