Brake Electric Motors

To guarantee a better safety, it is possible to install an additional d.c. negative brake on TF/DF series brake motors to double the braking torque, thus ensuring a higher stopping accuracy and a high safety level in case of voluntary interruption or accidental motor power supply interruption.

These types of electric motors are recommended for theatre installations.

Three-phase double-brake motors are available with ATEX Zone 2/22 - Category 3G/3D Certificate (potentially explosive environments).
