Brake Electric Motors

Three-phase brake motors TF series are made with the application of an electromagnetic disc-brake onto an A.C. current motor.

Three-phase brake motors can be supplied with following options:

• Double output shaft.
  
• Brake supply from separate line. This solution is advisable on double speed motors and when an inverter is used.
  
  
  

The three-phase motors are available with B3, B5 and B14 flange and have following characteristics:

• IEC sizes = 55 ÷ 200
• Nominal power Pn= 0.05 ÷ 37 kW
• Polarity = 2, 4, 6, 8
• Brake type: A.C. current, D.C. current
• Energy efficiency= IE1, IE2, IE3
• Nominal torque Mn= 0.18 ÷ 197.6 Nm
• Rotation speed n = 640 ÷ 2960 rpm
  

Three-phase brake motors are available with ATEX Zone 2/22 - Category 3G/3D Certificate (potentially explosive environments).
