High Braking Torque Motors

TFP series motors are equipped with an electromagnetic springs brake, which works with a.c. and the disk brake has double braking surface.

These motors has been projected to achieve the highest release and braking precision, the maximum braking frequency and high starting frequency.

It is possible to adopt brakes with separate feeding, in the same way as it happens with two speed motors or motors working through inverters.

The three-phase high braking torque motors are available with B3, B5 and B14 flange and have following characteristics:

• IEC sizes = 63 ÷ 200
• Nominal power Pn= 0.09 ÷ 37 kW
• Polarity = 2, 4, 6, 8
• Brake type: A.C. current, D.C. current
• Energy efficiency= IE1
• Nominal torque Mn= 0.63 ÷ 197.6 Nm
• Rotation speed n = 640 ÷ 2940 rpm
  

Three-phase brake motors are available with ATEX Zone 2/22 - Category 3G/3D Certificate (potentially explosive environments).

All the motors are provided with the screw for the brake hand release and are manufactured complying with IEC international standards.
