M.T. Motori Elettrici high braking torque motors arise by coupling an enhanced brake to three-phase asynchronous motors, single phase motors, single-phase motors with high starting torque and three-phase motors with double polarity.
The self-braking brake is a negative brake for lack of current with double friction surface.
High braking torque motors are characterized by maximum release and braking precision, with braking efficiency on both rotation directions.
The brake motor is standard supplied with insulation class F and IP54 protection (IP55 if requested on TFP and DFP series).
On request, brake motors can be supplied with mechanical hand release.
